Dog Food Suggestions

What do you feed your dog. Maverick (Black Lab) is 3 monhs and I've been feeding him the reagular Purina Puppy Chow that the vet gave me. We've only been working on obedience training and playing. Now that we're starting to work a lot harder and move closer to hunting season, I want to make sure he getting good food. I've about pulled my hair out with ALL the brands and varieties to choose from. I've read a lot of online reviews and they're sayig what I thought were top brands (Eukanuba, Iams, Purina Pro Plan, Loyal) aren't that good and push the top dollar stuff. Are they really any better? I did just buy Purina Pro Plan Puppy Chicken and Rice and he inhales the stuff. My grand-father raises beagles and has always feed Purina products. I do like the fact that some of the puppy foods have DHA for brain development. I know its also in baby formula for the same reason. Any thoughts, suggestion?

I started my 27 month old YLF off with the Purina Pro Plan Large Breed Puppy formula as that is what the breeder recommended. When she was about 8 months old, I transitioned her over to Blue Bufalo Large Breed Chicken & Rice once again at the breeders suggestion. She is doing fine and has no health issues (so far).

There are others on here who are far more knowledgeable than me that should have some other suggestions.
