I am the maint supv for the place I work at. I may have a treasure for you carvers. We just upgraded our water treatment plant and tore down an old water tower. The wood for the tank is 8" x 10" x 20' long white cedar. It is in prime shape. I am not sure to what they want to do with this stuff. Its about 180 pcs of it. If its something you may want to use in your work let me know. Whenever the decieson is made I will post up and if I can have it and get rid of it, I would rather see it being used for your skills. One guy told me he thought the wood would be worth some money, That I am not interested in. If you think you want some and i get approval to move it I will post up. You NJ guys I could meet you for a delivery if it comes thur. So just drop me a note here and I wioll update when I get a solid answer.

Hey guys here is an update on that wood. The Father who is our Director here came back and i had to talk to him on somethings. He has plans tpo use some of it in a walk/shrine prayer center here. From his plans i expect about a 1/3 or better of the wood to be leftover and i can have it. This project should be done in Mid June. To those who live along the I-95 route of coast in NJ, MD or De. I can ararnge a meeting to deliver at no cost. I have a issue in Va that will take me down thur those areas for several trips. If you are interested you cam pm or email me a contact number. I would like to see this wood used and not tossed as good wood gets tossed so often now. I will have to make my trips with a large truck going down empty so it wont be a problem. If things change as they can here I will post up.

PS George thxs again for those pixs I forwarded them to my son and as we skype he seems hooked on a trip there.

Hey Guys just dropping in for a few minutes and a update on that wood. First I have been in Va since the mid of Feb on this estate/murder trial I am dealing with. The wood is still there but nothing has moved on it. I will not get to talk to our Director on it. He has been kind enough to give me a leave of absence to deal with this mess. If I find out anything and it comes available I will post up, but as of now I think the project with the wood is on hold. It is covered and being taken care of. My right hand man at work is watching it for me if they decide what is going to happen. I hope to be back home soon and let my mind rest some and think of the comeing season. I hope all is in good health and looking forward to speaking to you again.
