This season I'll be starting off for geese with a Bay Country Shore Thing, Black Timber Overload and Grounds Real Thang for geese, later in the Season I'll probably switch over to my C & S Disciple and Apostle.

For ducks, I'll have my Watkin's W2, Echo Timber and Black Timber Open Water.

I got a new call last year that I really like it will do highs and lows. Its called let em lite calls its a small company out of Kentucky. Its an all acrylic call and the price is really good for an all acrylic call. I want to find a good wood call for this year. I was looking at echo calls. But the let em lite call did me well last year. They have an ebay store and you tube videos if anyone wants to check em out.

Goose;

JT shore thing(best all around call for me)
Saunders Traffic w/ game used guts(Fast, super crisp & LOUD)
$$ Maker w/ flyway X guts(my "over the water call" great low end, very easy to break over, soft and mellow)

I custom tune all my calls by sanding the reeds and boring a hole with a my dremel in the guts(gives it hollow "goosey" tone)

Duck;

RNT DC
Hobo ICU2

Swampy,

I have seen where some guys just do a spot drill with the dremel at the bottom of the tone board channel.
Do you bore yours all the way through?

I have couple spare sets of BC guts for my Shore Things and may give it a try.

That is one of the places where I saw it. I'll be giving it a try.

I also picked up a set of GK OTE guts that I have not had a chance to tinker with either.
