I hunted the first four days of the season for SZ. 3 man limit Sat, 14 Mon with a banded woodie, 5 Tues, 3 Wed. Sleeping in felt good today! Now its time to see what this storm yields and head back to work Monday. I had a great week. My girlfriend Haley shot her first limit. I had two college buddies come down for some hunting. I shot a banded wood duck, and I put the mud boat to some serious use!
I cross posted this with some other chats but figured the ducklodge only crowd would enjoy.
Now time for some weather and fresh birds!

Very nice hunts there!! I wish my spot in the south zone was a little better to me this week, but I'm hoping to score big this last week at another south spot I got. Seems there are lots of birds north and south, but not shit in the central state.

Congrats on a good hunt. Looks like the homework paid off.
