I have the mossberg 930. The 930 won't shoot 3 1/2 inch shells. It's a good gun so far no issues. I got a Briley choke because I didn't like how the factory chokes patterned. It's a great gun with a lot of options for the price. The reason I got the 930 rather then the 935 is I would never have the need to shoot 3 1/2 inch shells and the reviews I read said the 935 had some issues cycling some 2 3/4 loads. I shoot a good bit of 2 3/4 for ducks. So if you shoot 3in and 3 1/2 then the 935 is a good buy.

The 935 bis a solid working gun. But its designed to shoot only 3 and 3 1/2 shells. Some hi velocity 2 3/4s will work. If you get one clean the snot out of it before you shoot it and lightly lube it. been shooting mine 3 years now no problems. Its a tad heavy but I perfer that in a gun. All the new ones come with ported barrels and can be loud in close quarters. Shocked I shoot the mossy extended choke tubes for waterfol and it patterns great for me. Very easy to take apart and clean. Good luck on your choice.
