Re: Your thoughts on this?
I think that's a real shit bag thing to do to a dog. The dogs don't look happy not one wagging tail. They look dog tired. If I saw someone doing that to a dog I would smash em.

The dog is not determined, he is swimming for his life. Must suck to get smashed around on the rocks like that. If you wouldn't swim for it yourself, don't make your dog do it.....

Un effin real! I bet they keep those dogs outside in a kennel in every kind of weather and never let'em in the house either! Talk about retrieving a duck at all costs. Obviously they don't care for their dogs at all! I know I would never use my dog in that or any situation where I couldn't get to her quick!

I guess we found the line between true sportsmen and just weekend killers.

Stupid...I think these guys should go swim and retrieve their own birds. I surf, so does Stevey, I can tell you that swimming in the surf like that is difficult and dangerous. Why the hell would you hunt off those rocks anyway????

hey, all bets are that they are
quebequois!! Eons ago, when we shot eider, we used a chase boat--isles of shoals--Damn labs appear pretty resilient--That was certainly some major rough ocean-The chasseurs certainly could have had the smarts to do a vid on a calmer day, for sure.
Re: Your thoughts on this?
Thats a case where you'd like to see the dogs revert back to wild instincts and eat the master. I can see trying one retrieve but thats no respect for the dog.

Hey I agree....its so easy for one of them dogs to get hurt....specialy around the rocks...so i'm guessing the dogs are pretty experienced otherwise they would'nt be out there, but that kind of hunting is hard on a dog....Rusty

Experienced or not these guys are just arsholes to be putting their dogs in a situation like that, it only shows what regard they have got for them which is none, these guys give a bad impression of the true American waterfowler which are getting fewer by the day in my eyes, but I must admit there are plenty of cowboys

They were speaking FRENCH, which led me to believe that they were eidering north of our border. Can't blame the gringos for that one, well, at least this time!! If it were a yank, it is likely that they would have pups out there, testing their mettle!!!!

Thats sounds about right for froggy,s, If I would have been there I would have been testing there matal with a 12 gauge mag up there arse
and sent them for a swim.( ARSEOLES ) Over there in france they do most of thier waterfowling from old ww11 bunkers and they are in slippers, with beds and armchaires in the bunkers, and they call themselfs waterfowlers with no regard for their quarry, what ever moves they shoot it even sparrows and starlings
