I think its a little expensive but you can pay google to "optimize" your search results

The package I have through go daddy includes search engine optimization through all of the search engines, but I'm lost as to how to make it work. I've supplied key words and meta tags, but still can't get on the first page of searches.

Each one is different if there is a way I can look at it I might be able to help you out. I have done a few website including my own and it can be tricky. Some work on traffic flow, as more people visit the site the more the page will show in the search engines. You can also go to goggle and yahoo to help get the site going.

Thanks Mike. When I get home I'll get in touch with you about it. Go daddy has a program, SEO, that walks you through steps. Which I followed, setting key words and meta tags. It said it was complete, but I still can't get the search result. I think short of paying google directly for an advertisement, I just need to increase the site content, so that the bots return more hits.
