Delta Waterfowl Tower Shoot
Guys,
I am looking to put together another event to help benefit the Barnegat Bay Chapter of Delta Waterfowl. Our fishing trip broke even. Better than loosing money. So, I am looking to probably do a tower shoot maybe in March while the preserves are still open. This will be a phesant tower shoot. I am aware of some of the south jersey preserves doing a duck tower shoot but they are not cost effective.
Will would have a silent auction at the event and a gun auction. These items are left over from the fishing trip. I elected not to auction them since we would have probably lost over $500 due to the low turnout.

Depending on the cost, I would be interested. Why is a duck shoot not cost effective? Probably get more folks interested. I'd love to just work my dog for a tower shoot.

You can contact randy @ bent Creek...I used to cooradinate all the retrievers for his tower shoots

Re: Delta Waterfowl Tower Shoot
The duck tower shoots are not cost effective since they cost A LOT more than a phesant tower shoot. The ducks tend to fly much farther (usually off the property) if they have not been shot. Plus they are much more difficult to "hunt up" after the tower shoot is done.
I have never been to Medow View but I know of others who have been. Great cover for phesants from what I hear.
