Here in PA today was a perfect field hunt day for geese...a nice wind, good snow cover and no sun. I figured today would be the day for my 8mo old CLF Kensi. The day didn't disappoint! We scored a 3 man limit and Kensi was all over them! She had to run down 2 that tried to get away...they didn't! After a short sprint and tackle she brought them back. Her retrieves weren't perfect but that's ok. She did great for an 8mo pup and will only get better! Can't wait till next time and I'm sure niether can she!

So that's what a goose looks like. Been so long since I shot one, send some down his way. Awsome job! Congrats on her 1st goose hunt. I should be getting my pup in May.

AWESOME! honks are a rare treat for us... we've been whacking the specks this duck season, and a few windy days made for some great pass shooting on snows, so we've had a couple dogs get their first goosey here last couple weeks. Always funny when they look at you like, what the heck? travis

John, I never had a doubt she would do well. Sorry I could not be there to see it.
