Cedar Black Duck Pair

Here is a pair of cedar black ducks I carved last year. Hollowed New Jersey white cedar, weighted keels with stainless eye screw for line attachment. These were my Tuckerton entries for contemporary. Painted in acrylic and top coated. I hunted them twice and then put them on the shelf.

The pics show them being more glossy than they are, coating was still tacky. More on the decorative side. Carved raised primary feathers, textured paint and premium glass eyes.
