New Boat Mv1448 needs blind

Hey guys, my first post here on the site is going to be about asking some advice on getting or making a blind for my MV14 Jon. I have been doing some research and I like the Avery Quick Set but it's a bit pricey. I not the most mechanical person but would be willing to give a try at building a scissor style if some had plans. Well, thanks for the advice and I'm really looking for to my boat coming in sometime in the next few.

Hey Rich, welcome to the site! I have never built a blind like what you need, but hopefully somebody here can help you.

And I agree, the Avery quick set blind is expensive.

I'm assuming what your looking for is a light collapsable blind for your jon boat? I've seen guys use 1 inch PVC black pipes then use strapping material to secure it at the top, and that creates the frame to grass/cover/etc...
