I've got 4 more wire and canvad geese in the works but on hold while I wait on some supplies and I got involved in a mini decoy Christmas swap on another forum.
I'd never carved wood or cork but had some scrap basswood, enough for one.
Of course I had to choose one with a difficult paint scheme.
Here's my 1st, of any kind, carving attempt. Pintail drake made out of basswood and it has a white pine keel.My Mini Pinnie IMG_20121005_081427
Its coated with polyester resin.
