Are you set for opening goose. Just got off the river checking out loafing spots. Got several locked in the gps. Checked the 3 fields I have permission to hunt they are still with standing corn so it looks to be the river for the start. With this hot weather drought and ponds down looks better this year to be on the river. Any way good luck hunt safe and take a kid hunting

John I hear you about duck season. One thing since we've had little rain lots of the small ponds and lakes are low and it appears to have pushed more ducks to the river. I saw alot more local ducks the other day than I have seen in a while. Lets hope they say to make us happy Very Happy

Looks like my early season goose hunting may be limited to a couple draw hunts at the county park.

All our normal fields are also standing corn.
