Duck Report
Hey guys, pretty quiet out there. Any birds on the way to VA? We are loaded up with Buffies and sporadic reports of Bills. Some sea ducks. Hope everyone is having a good season thus far.

Re: Duck Report
Damn, buffies? They must have given us a pass because we've only seen small handfuls here and there. As far duck numbers, this is probably the least amount of duck hunting I've ever done at this point in the season. Having relocated to much farther South Jersey, having to keep my boat in my parents driveway 45mins North, its just been a pain in the ass. I've actually been sitting in the woods a lot more this year. Which seems to be a good choice as I've heard nothing but poor duck reports. Its going to pick up soon and I just spent my last day in the woods for awhile today. I'll be doing a lot of driving but doing a lot of duck hunting starting next week.
Re: Duck Report
Russ there is still a lot of open water here. But hopefully with this cold front coming something will be moving. Had a good early season with son not a lot of ducks but got to shoot everyday. This week should be better with a freeze and the ducks moving to the river.

NWPA ice
I saw on another forum that some lakes and ponds in NW PA got iced over this past weekend.
Maybe that will move some birds down.

Re: Duck Report
I was passing through Wisconsin today on the way to Minnesota for work and I passed Horicon Marsh and Beaver Dam and everything is frozen over up north. We should be seeing some birds further south soon.

Re: Duck Report
Russ with the cold we had this pass weekend we saw more ducks moving to the river where I hunt. Also we see more flights it seems moving during the day from the north. So hopefully you'll see some more quackers:DÂ soon.

Weather
It was 9 degrees in MN yesterday morning and 65 degrees in VA after a 4 hour flight. This weather is so screwed up. Today it is 77 degrees in VA.
