Paint or wrap on a boat Empty Paint or wrap on a boat

Hey guys setting up my first duck boat. Don't know if I should
Paint it or use camo wrap. It's a 12' v.

If it was me I would paint it with a good paint like peteets, if you have cammo rap on it and you get saltwater under it or any water for that matter you will start to have problems with rottage No

Paint everytime you scratch or knick the wrap you will be pissed and you will try to baby the boat paint is cheap and easy to redo when need be

I would just paint it. Paint is cheaper and easier to touch up. I've used vinyl wrap on a raceboat, but we put a lite coat of clearcoat over it to seal out water and keep the vinyl from peeling. Clear coat will make it reflective in the sun, but without it like Eddie said your taking a chance of rot on a wood boat. If its aluminum, worse thing that happens is that it starts to peel.

Go the paint route. If you put a camo wrap on that matches your area and you have to move it may make it sick out like a sore thumb. With paint you can tweak it to blend in with the local you're in.

I would definetly paint it chris, reguardless of how you are going to dress the boat painting it has many pro, and its a good first layer of camo.
